Troubleshooting

Tools are provided by the SD-WAN Orchestrator Test & Troubleshoot functionality, which allows for the testing of the state of the VMware services, the execution of remote Edge activities, and the collection of debugging information specifically for an Edge.

You can access and carry out the testing and troubleshooting options by clicking the Test & Troubleshoot button that is located within the Enterprise portal.

Run Remote Diagnostics

You can use VMware SD-WAN Orchestrator to run different Remote Diagnostic tests on a chosen Edge.

Follow these steps to run Remote Diagnostics on an Edge:

  • Pick up the Enterprise portal and go to the Diagnostics tab.

The current Edges are shown on the Remote Diagnostics page.

  • To access an Edge, click on the link.
  • It’s possible to connect to the Edge, and the Remote Diagnostics window shows all the tests that can be run on the Edge through Remote Diagnostics.
  • Pick out a good Remote Diagnostics test to run on the Edge, then click Run. The diagnostic data is brought in from the Edge and shown on the screen.

Remote Actions

From the Enterprise portal, you may remotely carry out tasks like rebooting, deactivating an Edge, and restarting services.
