Segmentation

Configure Segments

When you use isolation methods on a forwarding device like a switch, router, or firewall, you can divide the network into logical sub-networks called Segments. This is called segmentation. When information from different groups and types of data needs to be kept separate, network segmentation is needed.

Different VPN profiles can be turned on for each section in the segment-aware topology. Using dynamic tunnels, Guest traffic can be sent to remote data center firewall services, Voice traffic can go straight from Branch to Branch, and the PCI segment can send traffic to the data center to further leave the PCI network.
