Unit 1: Network Infrastructure
This will allow you to demonstrate your networking skills, knowledge, and abilities, with a focus on enterprise-level switching, routing, and multicast components that support cross-platform (inter)operability and integration with the most recent software-defined technologies.
OSPF Point-to-Multipoint Non-Broadcast Network Type
One difference distinguishes the Point-to-Multipoint Non-Broadcast network type from the Point-to-Multipoint network type. Both types of networks are entirely identical. Multicast Hellos are utilized by the Point-to-Multipoint network type, whereas the Non-Broadcast network type only employs unicast Hellos. A single additional function is provided by the non-broadcast mode. Because you have the ability to customize the OSPF cost per neighbor, hub-and-spoke topologies can benefit from this feature.
