Business needs and High-Level Design (HLD) elements in the context of enterprise network architectures are the main topics of the CCDE Written and Practical exams.
Exam subjects, or a single, cohesive blueprint, are shared by both tests. The written CCDE exam will verify the HLD components of the main enterprise network designs.

CCDE Written Exam:-

The following are some things you should be aware of about the CCDE Practical Exam.
Over the course of eight hours, there will be four scenarios in all.
- No configuration will be required to be done on any equipment.
- Not specific to any one vendor, however various Cisco-related technologies (such HSRP, GLBP, EIGRP, and DMVPN) might be tested for .
- The four job duties in the CCDE scenarios are Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Optimization.

Scoring for the practical exam

Candidates will not pass the exam if their combined pass score for all scenarios is lower than the minimum score required for one or more of the specific situations. Those who pass the exam won’t receive any further information about their result.
Examinees who do not pass will receive a score report with cumulative scoring percentages broken down by domain.
