Vmware SDWAN Edge Interface Types

Each line of VMware SD-WAN Edge models has a unique number of interfaces that are available to users. There will be a variety of interface combinations that are presented by each Edge model. These interfaces will be either L2 switched or L3 routed with default settings. Edge 510, the 6×0 (610/620/620N/640/640N/680/680N), the 840, the 2000, the 3×00 (3400/3800/3810), and all types of Virtual Edge are examples of Edge devices that are capable of being configured in this manner.

Neither the Edge 500 nor the Edge 520/540 are equipped with this capability.
