Vmware SDWAN architecture

VMware SD-WAN offers a safe layer that doesn’t depend on the transport, so it can be used with any mix of broadband Internet or MPLS paths, giving you the fastest speed for all of them.

Virtual Service Delivery, SDWAN Services Orchestration, and the Cloud Network are the three levels that jointly make the architecture.

  • Cloud network

With a cloud-ready network, there are no more data center backhaul fees, and there is a direct path to both public and private organization clouds that is faster and more efficient. Edge-to-Edge or Edge-to-Cloud secure SD-WAN overlay tunnels let you connect to the business and the cloud.

DC-hosted, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) are some of the apps in this category.

  • Virtual services delivery

By using a single click, seamless insertion, and chaining of virtualized services on premise or in the cloud, the footprint of the branch office can be decreased. DMPO, Cloud VPN, routing, segmentation, Next-Generation Firewall, and voice quality monitoring are some of the services that Vmware SDWAN offers.

Alternately, they may be made available by virtual services provided by other parties, such as cloud web security.
